QR Generator is a QR code generator at qrgenerator.store. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to data when you use it.

The codes you make never leave your browser

The QR encoder runs entirely as JavaScript on your device. The link or text you type is turned into a code locally and is never sent to this site server, never logged, and never shared. The same is true of the colours, shapes and sizes you choose, and of the files you download.

What is stored on your device

• Saved library. If you use Save to library, those codes and the profile names you create are written to your browser local storage. They stay on that device, in that browser. Clearing the site data removes them, and nobody else can read them.
• Cookies from Google. Analytics and advertising, described below, set their own cookies and similar identifiers.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which features are used. It records things like the page viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and referring site. It does not receive the content of the QR codes you generate. Google practices are described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and in some cases to personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

• You can control personalised advertising at My Ad Center and opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings.
• Third-party vendors listed at aboutads.info/choices can be managed there.
• Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, through Google consent mechanism.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google servers receive your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the font files.

What this site does not do

• No accounts, no sign-up, no email collection.
• No selling of personal information.
• No server-side record of the links you encode.

Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13, and no personal information is knowingly collected from them.

Your choices

• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the generator keeps working without them.
• Clear the site stored data to delete your saved library.
• Use the Google links above to limit ad personalisation.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
